Manufacturers Warranty – Warranty against Defects
5 year structural warranty

Please refer to the following pages for the full terms and conditions:

PYS manufacturers warranty applies on all our products purchased from our retailers for each item of furniture against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase for a period of five (5) years… other than Fabrics, Leather, Cushion Fillings and Drawer Runners and Hinges, which are covered by individual supplier warranties usually for a period of 12 months..

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This guarantee shall only apply whilst the furniture is cared for and maintained in accordance with the care instructions provided by PYS Furniture to the retailer supplying the goods.

This guarantee does not extend to cover the furniture or any part thereof which in the opinion of the Company or its Representatives is worn by fair wear and tear and/or has been damaged by abuse, misuse, negligence or inadequate care, including transport damage.

If  you wish to make a claim against this guarantee, initial contact should be made with the Retailer from whom the item was purchased within seven (7) days of the fault becoming apparent. You will require proof of purchase and to supply photos showing the issue being claimed for.

The product may only be returned to PYS furniture after approval in writing has been issued and a return authority number quoted…
Should it be necessary to return the furniture for repair or replacement within the first 12 months…transportation charges shall be paid by PYS, after 12 months transportation charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser…

PYS Furniture is manufactured from Natural Timbers in sustainable managed and harvested forests according to Australian Forestry Standards (AFS) which are endorsed by the global Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
The natural features of timber result in finished products that display variation and individual characteristics.
These characteristics include knots, wavy irregular grain patterns, gum veins and non directional grain, which should not be mistaken for faults. Your timber furniture may also change in colour and character over a period of time. These unique features ensure that you have an authentic, natural timber furniture product that will last for many years.
